Q What happened to the hold I placed on a book through the website?
I'm sorry for the problems you experienced placing holds. We recently discovered a problem in which holds placed through the website-version of our catalog were dropped overnight. Between February 17 and 25, 2014 holds placed on the website expired unintentionally. Our web team has patched the bug and successfully reinstated all holds that were expired. Holds placed through the traditional catalog were not effected.
Holds are an important part of library services and of course we want to provide the best service possible for our card holders. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
