  • Academy of Achievement
    Salutes men and women whose accomplishments helped shape the 20th century. It offers biography on individuals, their accomplishments, and some of the common characteristics shared by these achievers.
  • American
    This excellent resource presents brief biographies of each president, lists of cabinet members and staff, and essays on key events and accomplishments for each administration.
  • Biographical Directory of the United States Congress, 1774 to Present
    Site offers biographical information for all individuals who have served in the United States Congress. Individuals from the Continental Congress are included as well. It includes images of many, material from other sources, and allows users to create useful lists by using the drop-down lists included on the site.
  • Colonial Hall: Biographies of America's Founders
    Site provides biographies of America's Founding Fathers. Divided into three categories, it lists Signers of the Declaration of Independence, Articles of Confederation, and the U.S. Constitution.
  • History of Mathematics
    Archive contains the history of mathematics as well as biographies of mathematicians.
