Library staff at all 11 locations are excited to help you choose a book, or you can browse to your heart's content through our stacks. Richland Library holds over one million books, more than 900 magazine titles in print, and nearly 90,000 DVDs and CDs. Library staff are always willing to offer assistance in choosing a good book, movie or CD, or helping you find that one item you've been searching for.

Reserve Online and Pick Up at Your Convenience

We’re always open! Search for books, audiobooks, music, or movies, then reserve them online using your library card and your pin number—usually the last four digits of your phone number. Stop by to pick up your materials any time it’s convenient for you, at the location most convenient to you.

Waiting List

If you place a hold on a popular title that is currently unavailable, we will send you an email when it is ready for pickup. You’ll have seven days from the time the email is sent to come to the library and check out the item.

Need help finding a good book, movie or CD?

Our librarians can make fabulous suggestions in person. Customers can use a service provided by the library that does the same thing - virtually. Using NoveList Plus is like having your very own librarian at the ready to suggest the next great book for you to read. All you need is a library card. Although we have lots of books in our home, my children have always looked forward to going to the library.
