The library has dozens of genres of music on thousands of compact discs, including ballet, big band, blues, classical, country, hip hop, folk/world, holiday, inspirational, jazz, marches, movies/musicals, new age, opera, patriotic, popular, sound effects and wedding. Books on CD
Many unabridged works of fiction and non-fiction are available at all library locations. Some titles are available in the MP3-CD format. In addition to playing the MP3-CD audiobooks on MP3-CD players and computer CD drives, you may easily transfer files from a MP3-CD to an MP3 player like the Apple iPod or other devices.
CD-ROMs
The library has a wide variety of interactive multimedia programs for all ages. All are "Windows" titles; however, some are hybrids that may be used with DOS and/or Macintosh systems. This collection was initially made available through a Library Services and Construction Act-Title I Grant administered through the South Carolina State Library.
