  1. OMG of Homeownership Workshop

    June 5 , 2013 by Michelle DuPre

Are you thinking about buying a home?  Or have you recently purchased one and still need some help with simple repairs or landscaping?  The City of Columbia and Richland County are teaming up and offering a free workshop on Saturday, June 22 that may interest you.  And that's right, I said FREE!  Last year about this time, we were thinking about buying a house and I found out about this workshop.  It was incredible. We showed up a little early and enjoyed some free breakfast and wandered around the vendor booths which included foundation repair specialists, real estate agents and attorneys to name a few.  We each took 3 different classes absorbing as much as possible so that we could report back to the other after the experience was over.  It truly was a great Saturday morning.  We left with some great new knowledge and even a pair of faucet covers (lucky winners of a door prize).  There is always something great going on in this city.
