Project Summer Stride: Week Five

For week five, the children had a special treat - a visit from storyteller, Darion McCloud. After breakfast, tutoring time and lunch, the children gathered on a quilt to hear folk stories and other tales come alive through the magic of storytelling.

Engaging Toddlers with Felt-Boards

Getting young children engaged in books can be a real challenge. Toddlers and preschoolers have boundless energy and their minds bounce from idea to idea at a million miles an hour. Just getting them to sit still through an entire book can be tough!
