The 28th annual Augusta Baker's Dozen Storytelling Celebration is here! Join us as we celebrate stories Thursday, April 24 through Saturday, April 26.

This year's featured guest is award winning author and literacy advocate, Pat Mora! Mora is the author of many books for children, teens and adults, and helped found El día de los Niños, El día de los Libros/Children's Day, Book Day. Join us for a weekend of events that celebrate stories, families and "bookjoy".

The Augusta Baker's Dozen Storytelling Celebration honors the life and work of nationally-known author and storyteller Augusta Baker.

This event is sponsored by Richland Library, Richland Library Friends, and USC School of Library and Information Science. Special thanks to Historic Columbia Foundation and Richland County School District One for making this storytelling celebration possible.
