Back By Request: Learn THAT Dance on February 25!

When the line dancing starts at a wedding and you find yourself sitting there pretending like you don’t care or don’t want to dance, but really you JUST WISH YOU KNEW HOW, then here’s your chance to change that!

On February 25, I’ll again be teaching the basic line dances that are hot at weddings, parties, and on cruise ships. This class is designed for beginners! That is, if you are nervous, clueless, uncoordinated, or just inexperienced, this class is for YOU!

Really. I’m teaching it and I’m not a professional dancer, so you do not have to feel intimidated by me. In fact, I’m a formerly nervous and clueless dancer who is still fairly uncoordinated. But with line dancing, I’ve discovered that it is FUN and there’s nothing like the rush of being in the middle of a group of happy people getting down to the beat. I’d like for you to experience that, too, and the goal of this class is for all of you who usually feel awkward to feel comfortable enough together to find at least one dance that’ll get you out there to boogie!

Come on out to the Main Library Auditorium on Tuesday, February 25 from 6:30-8:00. We’ll toy around with the Cupid Shuffle, the Wobble, the Cha Cha Slide and more, depending on how time goes. No registration required, no cameras allowed, all are welcome, and the party starts when you show up!
