That's just one of the things you can learn at the How-To Festival on Saturday, November 9, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Main Library. South Carolina Parks, Recreation & Tourism will present a session on Hiking Safety, Hiking Etiquette, Hiking in South Carolina Parks, and yes, How to Pitch a Tent! If the outdoors isn't your thing, there are plenty of other sessions to choose from on all sorts of topics. Bring your family, have some fun and learn something new this Saturday.
