Interested in Providing Feedback About the Affordable Care Act?
Richland Library is partnering with the University of South Carolina to hold a series of focus groups regarding the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to assess the current knowledge and beliefs about ACA from adults in Richland County. These focus groups are not political and have no other agenda than to gather feedback on ACA and how best to communicate information to meet the needs of our residents.
We are looking for individuals who fit the criteria set for each focus group at selected locations listed below for a 1.5-hour question and answer session. We are seeking a very diverse representation of adults in Richland County who have not yet attended a Richland Library ACA forum. Those selected to participate in the forums will receive $25 for their time.
Thank you to everyone who participated in these events during November and December. Your information was invaluable. The results from these focus groups will be published in 2014 and shared with the community at large.
With the generous support of the Knight Foundation Donor Advised Funds at Central Carolina Community Foundation, Richland Library will lead the efforts for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Initiative to raise awareness and education of Richland County residents regarding the impact and options of the ACA.
