Kurosawa to Bergman: A Cry in the Dark

Join us at Northeast on Tuesday, August 19 at 6:30 PM for A Cry in the Dark, our next installment in Kurosawa to Bergmen: Films from Around the World .

Based on a true story, A Cry in the Dark details the media circus surrounding the investigation of Lindy and Michael Chamberlain's involvement their daughter's death. The Chamberlains insist that Azaria was taken from their tent by dingoes during a camping trip to Ayers Rock in Australia. After police note some inconsistencies in Lindy's story, she is charged with murder.

If you don't think A Cry in the Dark is quite your taste, we have several movies left in our series. Kurosawa to Bergman: Films from Around the World is a monthly event where we feature a film from a country represented in Columbia's International Corridor.
