"Don't Say I'm Too Old. Don't Say I'm Too Young"
"Whether you are sixteen or sixty, the rest of your life is ahead of you. You cannot change one moment of your past, but you can change your whole future. Now is your time.” - Matthew Kelly - The Rhythm of Life
The one constant in life is that life is consistently changing. We must change our "assumptions, our expectations, and our mindsets of what's possible." Are you ready for your life reimagined moment regardless of your age? Are you ready to change an old story with a new one? Need Inspiration?
Oscar Hammerstein II was sixty-four years old when he wrote the lyrics for The Sound of Music. Julie Andrews was eight years old when she mastered an astounding four-octave singing range. Ray Kroc was a fifty-two-year-old milkshake machine salesman when he bought out Mac and Dick McDonald and officially started McDonald's. Bill Gates was nineteen years old when he co-founded Microsoft. Jack Nicklaus was forty-six years old when he shot 65 in the final round, and 30 on the back nine, to win the Masters.Tiger Woods was three years old when he shot 48 for 9 holes on his hometown golf course in Cypress, California. Anne Frank was thirteen years old when she began her diary. Paul McCartney was fifteen years old when John Lennon invited him to join a band. Nelson Mandela was seventy-one years old when he was released from a South African prison. Four years later he was elected president of South Africa.
As you can see, they didn’t use age as an excuse! They tapped into their new life phase by becoming an “an experiment of one!” They were free to find their own path that wasn’t based on rules, societal norms, boundaries or expectations. Now it’s your turn to tap into your new life phase, and you don't have to go it alone!
