Meet the Orchestra: Moo!@USC

Classical music and picture books come together to make a beautiful melody. Join us this Saturday for a once-in-a-lifetime musical storytime!

Members of the MOO! @USC music outreach organization and Spark, Carolina's Music Leadership Laboratory will perform classical music as stories are read aloud. The music and books were chosen to perfectly complement each other. Additionally, two of the musical pieces are original compositions, composed by USC students to accompany Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak and The Paperboy by Dav Pilkey. Bring your family to hear the bassoon, the flute, the violin, and many other instruments harmonize with wonderful stories.

Meet the Orchestra will take place at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 5 in the Children's Room, Richland Library Main. Call (803)929-3434 for more information.
