Share stories about children and families in faraway places. Your children will notice the differences and similarities between themselves and people around the world. This is a great week to develop knowledge and empathy for others.
Weekly Challenge:
Share stories and songs from other places and cultures. Find someone that speaks a different language or is knowledgeable about another country to share with your children.
Suggestions:

- Listen to songs that are in a foreign language.
- Find someone that lived in another country to come share with your class.
- Share food that is typical of another country.
- Have your children play dress up in types of clothing from across the world.
