A young woman really did live all alone on a California island for more than a decade, and hundreds of newspapers reported the fact! How did she end up alone? How did she survive? Was her best friend really a dog? Come learn more about the real-life Karana in an exciting multimedia presentation given by USC Professor Sara Schwebel, editor of the newly released Island of the Blue Dolphins: The Complete Reader's Edition. Be sure to read the classic novel before the event!
