Each month we will learn something new about the sun and observe it through special solar-safe astronomy equipment. Arrive by 11:00 am in Richland Library Main's 2nd level theater to see the presentation first. We will be set up in the upper parking lot.

Ever wanted to take up vlogging, but weren't really sure where to start? Or weren't sure you were "good enough" at the camera? Come and learn the basics of on-the-go shooting, editing, and the YouTube upload process. Bring your smartphone (or any small video camera you feel comfortable with), charged and ready to shoot. You will edit and export in Adobe Premiere Pro. You will need to sign up for a free YouTube account, if you don't already have one. We'll cover some simple framing & lighting, and how to choose your best moments in editing to help make your vlog more accessible. We'll also talk about choosing a thumbnail, titles, and tags on YouTube.
