A difficult and riveting movie about race. We will be screening a double feature with the '34 version at 12:00 pm and the '59 at 2:30 pm. These screenings are part of Richland Library's Not Like Me film festival celebrating diversity and promoting inclusion. Join us as we explore the issues of race, immigration, and identity with local experts. For these screenings, we will hear from Alison Kozberg, Director of the Nickelodeon Theatre.Alison Kozberg is a film programmer, writer and educator from Los Angeles, CA. She holds a Masters Degree in Critical Studies in Cinematic Arts from the University of Southern California and has worked in repertory, art house and experimental film exhibition in Los Angeles, Boston and Minneapolis. She visited movie theaters and sampled al pastor tacos throughout the United States before arriving in Columbia, SC.
