Did you know that representatives from Lifeline Wireless, a Federal Lifeline program that provides a FREE cellular phone along with FREE minutes, data, and text messages, are at the Richland Library Main location every Tuesday from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM? They are available to enroll you and answer any questions about the program you may have.About Lifeline's Wireless Plans· No contract· Service is for 12 months and you need to re-qualify once a year· If you qualify, you will receive your cell phone in 5-7 business days.To be eligible for the Lifeline Free Phone Program, you may qualify if your income falls below your state’s residency poverty guidelines OR if you participate in a government assistance program such as:· Medicaid· Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Food Stamps or SNAP)· Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8)· Supplemental Security Income (SSI)· Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)· Other state or federal assistance programsWant to Apply or Learn More? The South Carolina Citizen Review Panel and Richland Library invite grandparents, aunts, uncles and others who have assumed caregiving responsibilities for youth to participate in our Kinship Care Listening Circle. Caregivers will participate in candid discussions and share their experiences, best practices and concerns related to kinship care. Kinship care refers to the care of children by relatives or close family friends.

Class description: Prepare for the holidays with some easy, elegant appetizers that are sure to impress. These no-fuss recipes help take the stress out of holiday entertaining. Menu: Bacon-Wrapped Brussels Sprouts with Lemon Aioli - Sausage-Stuffed Mushrooms - Sweet Potato Pie Tarts. What to expect: • All classes are for ages 18 and up, unless noted otherwise • You will be standing and cooking for most of this hands-on class • Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back • All classes are limited to 16 people and you will work in groups of 4 • You will get to sample the recipes you make • All classes are roughly 1 ½ to 2 hours long **Please Note** Culinary program waivers MUST be signed upon arrival to the program. Any questions about food allergies must be addressed before the start of the program. Recipes and ingredients will not be altered/substituted due to food allergies or diet restrictions.
