Business, Careers and Research Center at Richland Library Now Open
Richland Library's newly redesigned Business, Careers and Research Center is now open! The Third Level space at Main offers job seekers, small business customers, students and families the perfect place to explore career or entrepreneurial opportunities, attend classes, complete online job applications or work on a research paper.
Dedicated spaces in the Business, Careers and Research Center include:
Business and Career Computers - 18 computers dedicated for job seekers to work on résumés and cover letters, applications, and other career-related activities.
Career Coaching Center - Career Coaches meet one-on-one with customers to assist with résumé, job application, career assessment, and interview strategies.
Computer Classroom - attend a Computer Basics class or one of our many programs featuring small business and workforce experts.
Coworking Center - 6 free, fully equipped desks with power outlets, a Mac station with Adobe Creative Suite and storage lockers. A Coworking Center desk may be reserved for up to an 8 hour time period.
Copy/Print/Fax/Scan Center - make photocopies, fax, scan documents and release print jobs sent from library computers, all in one convenient location.
Family Career Studio - job seekers with children can work on résumés, job applications and other job-related tasks to achieve career goals.
Networking Center - participate in a professional webinar, virtual interview or meet one-on-one with a community partner.
Research Computers - 6 computers dedicated for academic coursework and to search library databases.
