If You Build It, They Will Come

Ok, apparently I've been getting that quote wrong since...forever. It's actually if you build it, he will come. It's getting close that counts, right? Stick with me on this. Not to disappoint you, but we aren't building a baseball diamond in a cornfield, nor were we able to track down Kevin Costner for this post. Don't fret! We are going to have an incredible Second Level when we reopen this fall.

Why? Because we're building it for you.

The Studio Services team is hard at work activating new spaces and services in the areas of Maker, Media Arts, Studio Arts, and Writing. And that's just where we're starting. This idea didn't come to us like it did Kevin Costner in the movie...that would have been creepy. This came through an organic shift in public libraries; people need us in different ways because people are learning in different ways. We're still working towards the same goals we have since the beginning of public libraries...we're here to make you smarter! We're just not limited by our medium anymore.

Check out our floorplan below and BuildingYourLibrary.com for updates!
