Reminisce with Jim "Soni" Sonefeld
The summer of 1994 was full of excitement in Columbia as Hootie and the Blowfish was set to release their debut album, Cracked Rear View. We all watched as the album climbed the charts and became the best selling album of 1995. A gig on David Letterman and a visit from MTV brought Hootie and Columbia, SC into a nationwide spotlight. Now we are heading into the summer of 2014 and 20 years after the debut of Cracked Rear View. Take a look back at the beginnings of Cracked Rear View with a live interview with author Mike Miller and Jim "Soni" Sonefeld on Saturday June 14 at 3 p.m. in the Bostick Auditorium. We hope you can join us for this special summer of 2014 anniversary!
