Relive the Past through Historic High School Yearbooks

As local residents are coming off the celebration of our country's history over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, Richland Library couldn't think of a better time to announce its digital collection will now feature historic Richland County high school yearbooks.

It is the first institution to make local high school yearbooks available electronically and freely accessible worldwide. You can browse them by clicking here. The "Yearbooks of Columbia Area Schools" digital collection will include yearbooks, dating back 50 years or older.

"The Richland County high school yearbooks are a popular print resource in the Walker Local and Family History Center," said Manager Debbie Bloom. "Maximizing access to our print resources, along with thousands of local photographs, expands the services that we offer and enables users around the world access to our collection."

The community can continue to help this collection grow. If local residents have a yearbook that they would like to donate or scan, please call the Walker Local and Family History Center at 803-929-3402 or visit our Main location (1431 Assembly Street).
