Babies

At birth, a baby's brain is the only part of his body still developing. Read to your baby and his brain will grow big and strong. Books help you introduce your baby to rare words, language and the whole wide world. Come to the library for storytime every week and share books at home every day.

At Richland Library, we have two storytime just for babies:

Mother Goose Storytime for babies birth to 12 months: Introduce your baby to the world of books and nurture a love of reading with stories, rhymes and songs.

Hello, Baby! for babies birth to 23 months: Your baby will love storytime while increasing vocabulary, listening and motor skills with stories and songs.

Richland Library is devoted to helping your baby grow into a reader! Check out some of the great books for babies listed below or bring your baby to the library for more suggestions from our staff.
