Q: Will I lose my holds?
A: No you will not lose your holds. Holds will be transferred from our old software to our new software. Your place in the hold queue will be maintained.
Q: When and how do I register?
A: This upgrade will be automatic for all Richland Library customers. You won't need to do anything to take part in the enhanced functionality as long as you have a Richland Library card.
Q: Will my login change? How will I know how to login?
A: You will continue to login using your library card number and pin, just as you always have. The new system will give you the option of choosing a username and password to replace the library card number and pin as your login method, but it won't force you to change. It will be up to you how you would like to login going forward.
Q: Will I still get email notifications?
A: You should get email notifications if you got them in the past. The schedule will be different - our old system sent Item Due notifications three days before an item was due, as well as on the day it was due. Our new system will only send one notification the day before an item is due. You will administer your notification preferences in the My Account section.
