Fit for the Summer
Oh that Valentine candy…is it gone yet? If it is, you may be dreading the Great Bathing Suit Hunt. Why not drop the dread and pick up some weights instead. There are so many ways to conquer slack, sloth, and fat these days that the only problem may be picking which training is your best route to strength, agility, and endurance. Richland Library has a great selection of books to introduce you to the many fitness programs available. You can train like a Navy Seal or find inner balance as well as outer beauty with yoga or the Alexander Technique. You can sculpt your body with weight training or swim your way to endurance and a lean, lithe body. Many of these books offer motivational and nutritional advice to help keep you on target.
