Amazon Says: David Crowder Band delivered their final album 'Give Us Rest or (a requiem mass in c [the happiest of all keys])' to a stellar #2 debut on the Billboard Top 200 Chart in January 2012. It marked the end of the era that brought songs to the church like 'How He Loves,' 'O Praise Him,' 'Everything Glorious,' 'No One Like You,' and many more. Releasing 6 albums, the group sold over 1.9 million albums while winning 8 Dove Awards and receiving two GRAMMY nominations. While the band has called it quits, Crowder will continue to release music and tour the country. Crowder will be headlining a 20-city club tour in the spring of 2013 and will continue to work on new music as he launches his solo career. An all new record from Crowder is coming in the fall of 2013. 'All This For A King: The Essential Collection' features one new song and three new remixes from Crowder, along with the David Crowder Band's biggest songs like 'How He Loves,' 'O Praise Him,' 'Everything Glorious,' 'No One Like You,' and more less...

Amazon Says: By the age of 18, D'Angelo was a three-time Amateur Night at the Apollo winner. He established himself as a spectacular new solo talent at the age of 21 with the 1995 release of his debut album, Brown Sugar, carrying classic soul's torch into new musical ground as an innovative songwriter and vocalist. Brown Sugar's double platinum success was followed by 2000's Voodoo, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and R&B/Rap Albums charts. Written and produced by D'Angelo and recorded live with no overdubs, the album won the year's GRAMMY® Award for Best R&B Album, and D'Angelo also won a GRAMMY® for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for 'Untitled (How Does It Feel).' less...

Amazon Says: After more than a half-decade after their breakthrough debut album, Snowden returns with No One In Control. Jordan Jeffares - the multi-talented mind behind Snowden - toiled for almost six years, pushing himself and his music ever closer to madness, and that hermetic intensity can be heard in each facet of the record, finely etched with the help of producer Bill Skibbe (John Spencer, Blues Explosion, The Kills, Fiery Furnaces). From the syrupy pulse beats of So Red; to the nihilistic euphoria of the first single, The Beat Comes, Snowden has crafted a vivid portrait of obsession and isolation, of gut-wrenching doubt and ultimate redemption. With its seamless integration of haunting melodies, rhythmic ingenuity, and deft songcraft, No One In Control sees Snowden's artistry and ambition ascending to untouched new heights. less...
