New Books for Children December 25, 2012

Being bilingual is good for your brain!

Many recent studies suggest that raising your child in a bilingual home keeps his brain more active and engaged. At Richland Library, we want to provide as many resources as we can to help your child succeed.

Our featured new book of note this week will help you teach your little one some basic words in English and Spanish. With its durable pages and colorful art, My Big Book of Spanish Words by Rebecca Emberly is sure to captivate and help your child learn important words and concepts (including colors and numbers) in both languages.

There are many other new books, too! Just take a peek below for some more picture and chapter books that you may enjoy.
