See South Carolina
Through RCPL’s Request for Purchase service, I’ve recently requested several beautiful new books for our collection, after I saw reviews either in a magazine, journal, or on Amazon. My most recent orders, Litchfield Style, The Irish Country House, and England’s Hideaways, have just arrived. Full of color and ideas, these books are “eye candy” for us home and garden lovers.
Looking at the photographs of interiors and gardens that were inspired by America’s European heritage, I’m reminded of the treasury of historic homes, towns, and regions that we have in South Carolina. Of course, we have a large selection of books about our own beautiful sights in South Carolina. Check out the titles below to enjoy the sights in our own beautiful state.
- Beautiful Places: The Timeless Beauty of South Carolina State Parks Charleston Icons
- Grandeur Preserved: The House Museums
- Low Country: From Charleston to Savannah
- The Majesty of Beaufort
- Rivers of South Carolina
- Scenes from Columbia’s Riverbanks
- Tending Old Houses
