A Week In Winter book cover

Something New: February 12, 2013

Looking for something new to read?

Maeve Binchy’s last novel, A Week In Winter, completed shortly before her death in July 2012 is now available in the United States. Ms. Binchy, a popular Irish author, wrote numerous novels with two of her books, Circle of Friends and Tara Road, adapted into films.

Also, Karen Russell, author of Swamplandia, a finalist for the 2012 Pulitizer Prize for Fiction (although no prize for fiction was awarded for 2012) is out with a new book of short stories entitled Vampires in the Lemon Grove. Short story collections seem to be big this year; Tenth of December by George Saunders has been on the New York Times Bestseller list for the past 4 weeks. Maybe this collection will do the same?

Give the other fiction and nonfiction hardcover choices below a look for your next great read.
