Don't Lose Your "My Lists" (aka "Bookbag")

Warning message

"My Lists" have been deactivated.

The library software will be upgraded between December 4 and 10 causing the "My Lists" saved in the old software to be lost. Read more >

You have been saving lists of titles in the catalog. And now they are just going to go away? How can that be?

An unexpected result of the library's catalog software switch is the loss of current lists saved as "My List" in the catalog. There is no mechanism for taking the lists from our current software to the new software. So lists currently saved in our catalog will go away. You can re-enter them in the new "My Lists" in our new catalog software after December 11.

Here is how you can save the contents of your "My Lists":

  1. Log in to the current catalog > and click on "My List" at the top right.
  2. Email your lists to yourself. The email will come from "Richland Library" and will have the subject line you give it. If you don't see it in a few minutes, check your junk mail. You may also print your lists.
  3. On December 12 when the new catalog software launches, go to the catalog by clicking "Search the traditional catalog" at the top of each page on the website. From there you will be able to re-enter your lists.

We realize this solution isn't perfect, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
