When I started working in libraries some time ago in Georgia, I was fascinated by the older gentlemen who made their weekly treks to the library to view our subscription of Value Line, a respected investment tool.   The men often scanned the pages of small print with magnifying glasses.  Today, these and similar services are also available online, if you can afford to subscribe.   I consider myself an amateur investor following the lead of those gents I got to know and respect as a young man but I can’t afford a Value Line subscription and Richland Library does not subscribe to the online version.  However, you may visit the our Business and Job Center at Richland Library Main for the print version.   Check at the Business and Job Center desk for assistance!  We do make available online investment tools such as the Morningstar Research Center which I refer to regularly.  The library remains a great place to prepare anyone for making smart investment decisions.
