Business and Job Center Work Stations
Many of you may be familiar with the services available in the Business and Job Center, located on the 3rd level of the Main Library. However, you may not know that we also have several Work Stations on this floor that are related to job searching. Each station provides specialized information for job seekers and these are highlighted as follows:
Richland Library Jobs- has computer specifically designated for applying for jobs at Richland Library Constructing a Career Portfolio- sample Career Portfolio and tip sheet Retraining- includes a list of Midlands area schools (degree and certificate programs) as well as GED class information and Workkeys resources and computer for researching in this area Reading the Classifieds- current Classified ads from The State Newspapers Starting a Small Business- includes publications and handouts related to Small Business Start-Up Job Searching for 50+-resources provided by AARP Volunteering- notebook with list of local volunteering opportunities
Additionally, we have a Scholarship and Financial Aid Workstation with a designated computer for scholarship and financial aid research as well as print resources.
