  2. Okee Dokee Brothers Perform at Richland Library

    March 1 , 2013

If the sound of a banjo makes your toes tap and your heart sing, you won’t want to miss Grammy-award winning kindie duo, The Okee Dokee Brothers, who’ll be performing live Sunday, April 14 at 3:00pm at Main Library as part of the Augusta Baker’s Dozen storytelling festival in April.

Inspired by nature, the duo has poured their love of the great outdoors into the heart of their Americana Folk music in the hope that children and parents will gain a greater respect for the natural world, their communities and themselves.

With music sewn into the very fabric of Columbia, we couldn’t agree more. That’s why the library’s music collection  and music-related events strive to have something for everyone. Listen freely!
