Last summer I had so much fun doing this project with our teens that I thought it was only right to bring it back this year. It is a great visual for any desk and the perfect little stress reliever. Watching the glitter fall down the jar gives you time to take your mind off things, calm down, process emotions, and regain control. Now let’s get to making!
What you will need:
- 16 once mason jar
- Distiller water
- ½ cup of clear glue or glycerin
- 1-2 tablespoons of Glitter
- Optional (Small Figurine and hot glue)
Direction
- Fill a mason jar halfway with distilled water.
- Insert whatever glitter you like. I would recommend mixing fine and chunky glitters to give your jar some variation. (If you want to add a figurine inside your jar use hot glue to attach it to the lid.)
- Add clear glue.
- Top with some more distilled water. If you added a figurine, make sure to leave enough wiggle room so that your jar does not overflow.
- Close the jar tightly and shake away!
