Homemade gifts are so much fun to make and can be incredibly special to receive. This recipe takes less than 30 minutes to make and are the perfect mix of festivity and creativity!
One of my favorite things to make around Christmas time are these Pretzel Hugs! All you need are three simple ingredients:
A bag of square pretzel snaps
A bag of M&Ms.
A bag of your favorite kind of Hershey’s kisses. I used Hershey’s Hugs kisses for these (because who doesn’t need a hug right now?), but I also love using dark or milk chocolate kisses.
First, preheat your oven to 200F.
Line up the pretzels and kisses on a baking sheet and put them in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until they are shiny and you can push an M&M in to the center easily. If you are using dark chocolate kisses, they might need a few extra minutes to really get melty in the middle.
When they are ready, push one M&M into the center of each kiss. Refrigerate them for about 15 minutes to set the chocolate and that’s it! Super simple and tasty. I put these in holiday-themed sandwich bags or small tins, and they make perfect homemade gifts!
