1. Tell us a little about yourself and your experience working with businesses.
I started working With DEW in July 2021 in the Resource Room as a Workforce Specialist working with customers that were looking for employment. While matching them up with jobs and assisting with the application process as well as resume assistance. March 2022, I moved to a Business Consultant role where I provided consistent and effective services to businesses that demonstrated a clear connection between workforce development activities and employer needs. In this role I worked with businesses to see what type of positions that they needed filled, assisted them in opening an account and adding their job orders in the system so individuals could view them and apply. I advertised the positions and conducted Hiring Events to bring individuals and the company together. Currently as a Regional Manager I oversee the DEW staff in all comprehensive and affiliate centers in the Midlands, which include Richland, Fairfield, and Lexington.
