Kanopy highlights award-winning documentaries, rare and hard-to-find titles, film festival favorites, indie and classic films (including the Criterion Collection), and world cinema. It provides access to films of unique social and cultural value, films that are often difficult or impossible to access elsewhere and programming that features diversity, with a wide array of foreign language films, films on race, and current affairs. Kanopy’s collection differs from Hoopla; a few titles may be available through both services.

Can checkout up to 10 films per month; credits reset on the first of the month;
Have three days to view a film as many times as they would like
Kanopy:
Can be accessed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast or Roku;
Will add about 150 new titles each month;
Currently, offers more than 300 films that feature South Carolina; and
