Sunday, November 29, 2020 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
As we enter into the 2020 flu season, its important to protect your health, the health of your family and those you may come in contact with.
Richland Library is proud to host free flu-shot clinics in partnership with Walgreens Pharmacy.
To ensure the safety of customers and staff, flu shot clinics will be held outside (weather permitting), and away from the library's materials pick up and outdoor browsing.
No sign-up is necessary. Ages 12 and over. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What to Expect:
- Customers will receive a number when they arrive, along with the necessary paperwork to complete in their vehicle.
- Customers should remain in their vehicles until their number is displayed/called.
- Shots will be administered outside under a tent/covering by Walgreens staff.
- After the flu shot is received, customers will be monitored in a designated waiting area by Walgreens staff for approximately 15 minutes.
The flu and pneumonia can be very dangerous—even deadly—if not treated. Every flu season is different, and the flu can affect everyone differently. Even healthy people can get very sick from the flu and spread it to others. Learn more about the flu, here.
