Thursday, February 17, 2022 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Richland Library's Let's Talk Race team invites you to take a deep dive into So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo.
For three Thursdays, we will explore how to create honest dialogue about race with our family, friends and co-workers using So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo as our guide:
-
-
Part One: Thursday, February 17th | 6:30-8 pm (Introduction + Chapters 1-5)
-
-
Part Two: Thursday, March 10th | 6:30-8 pm (Chapters 6-12)
-
Part Three: Thursday, April 14th | 6:30-8 pm (Chapters 13-17)
We hope that you will join us for all three of these courageous conversations.
However, please attend as many programs as you can whether you've read the book or not. Everyone has something valuable to contribute.
