Recently awarded a $10,000 economic impact grant from Beyoncé’s beyGOOD foundation, Dawn is dedicated to the mitigation of food-apartheid in communities disproportionately impacted by chronic disease through direct in-community interventions.
Converting personally and professionally to a vegan lifestyle in 2017, Dawn holds a Certificate in Plant- based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies (eCornell), a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Virginia State University, is mentored by Milton Mills, MD and has cooked professionally over 20 years.
On a mission to radicalize wellness with vegucation & flava, Dawn’s company, Herban Eats, offers a myriad of 100% plant-based vegan product and service solutions that specifically target ethnically-diverse communities.
