AiR Presents: Gathering - A Performance Museum
Saturday, December 10, 2022 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Gathering: Stones, Tapestry, and Voice - A Reflection
A very special, after-hours immersive art experience curated and performed by Richland Library's Artist-in-Residence Terrance Henderson.
Terrance Henderson, choreographer, actor and director, presents an installation of performances, centered around community and renewal.
A connecting. A reflecting. A looking back as well as forward. A perspective circle. A gathering of human beings connected through art. An open conversation about identity, legacy, and ritual. It’s a chance once again for me to speak in all my creative languages. Words, images, story, song, and dance. This is to be an immersive experience that is as much about the art of gathering people as much as it is about the performances; a kind of performance museum bringing together several of my artistic collaborators and celebrating the anthology of work I’ve created in Columbia over the now 20 plus years and the people who helped me make it. --Terrance
