Guided instruction for creating DIY projects. We provide the supplies, you supply the creativity!
This is the second of two Beginner Quilting classes, focusing on assembling the quilt top, batting, and backing. In this class, you'll learn:
- how to sandwich quilt layers
- how to baste the layers together
- how to quilt using the tie method or a walking foot
Students will be able to finish their quilt block from Beginner Quilting 1 with either method, and we will also discuss how to bind and finish your quilt at the end of class.
Participants must have completed Beginner Sewing or have equivalent skills. This should include threading a sewing machine, winding a bobbin, and sewing a straight seam. Beginner Quilting 1 is also a prerequisite for this class.
