STEAM Studio: Southern Skies
Wednesday, June 10, 2026 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Step inside a portable planetarium and discover the wonders of the night sky through a guided, immersive experience.
Take a journey through the stars without leaving the ground. Presented by Roper Mountain Science Center’s Science on Wheels, the Southern Skies program uses a portable planetarium to create an immersive astronomy experience for all ages.
Participants will explore constellations, learn how to navigate the night sky, and discover fascinating space science concepts through an engaging, guided presentation.
Two sessions will be offered:
- Session 1: 10:30–11:00 a.m.
- Session 2: 11:15–11:45 a.m.
This program will take place at the Eastover Park in the Gymnasium (1031 Main Street, Eastover, SC 29044)
