Fabrication Studio
Create or work on intermediate to advanced projects in our fully-equipped woodworking shop.
Welcome to the Fabrication Studio at Richland Library Main. Library cardholders can attend classes as well as complete an orientation to work independently.
The Fabrication Studio is a fully-equipped woodworking shop that offers intermediate to advanced woodworkers the ability to take a project from concept to a finished piece or simply work on an element of a project they are completing elsewhere.
Just getting started with woodworking, or creating a smaller project? Check out our Makerspace too.

Orientation:
All Richland Library cardholders interested in using the studio will need to attend the orientation workshop(s).
Your orientation will also include a tour of our two woodworking spaces, the Makerspace and Fabrication Studio, and include a discussion on your past experience and how you plan to use the space. A waiver will be signed at this time. Follow-up appointments may be scheduled before an individual is approved access to particular pieces of equipment. The orientation process takes into account skill level and aptitude; the process may take less time for those with prior experience. *library card required
Please note, wait times for orientations vary from one to three weeks depending on availability.
Appointments:
The Fabrication Studio is open and available to those who have gone through an orientation unless there is a program or one-on-one appointment in progress. Customers are welcome to e-mail Brenton Sadreameli at bsadreameli@richlandlibrary.com to inquire about studio availability.
If you have a project for which you would like assistance or advice, e-mail bsadreameli@richlandlibrary.com.
