Etsy Craft Entrepreneurship

Beginning in October 2018, Richland Library is launching the Etsy Craft Entrepreneurship Program. The innovative Etsy curriculum will provide microbusiness training to adults with existing creative skills through a series of 6 classes.

Eighteen applicants will be selected to participate in this training program that will guide them through becoming craft entrepreneurs. The program utilizes Etsy’s platform for selling creative goods as the real-world learning lab. Students will learn the basics of starting and running an online business which includes: pricing, basic accounting, product photography and marketing. Classes will take place on:

  • Monday October 1, 6-8 pm
  • Monday October 8, 6-8 pm
  • Monday October 15, 6-8 pm
  • Monday October 22, 6-8 pm
  • Saturday October 27, 2-5pm
  • Monday October 29, 6-8 pm

Interested in participating? We are looking to hire an Etsy Craft Entrepreneurship Teacher while also accepting student applications for the course. If you are 18 year or older and able to attend each session, click the links below to submit your application. Entry Period ends June 30th, 2018.
