Awards season is swiftly approaching. To celebrate the 94th annual Academy Awards, let us journey into past Oscar winners.
The Academy Awards have come a long way since first being broadcast by radio in 1930. Since then, the Academy Awards have celebrated the best of the best in the film industry. Accolades include Best Picture, production design, editing, original song, costume design and so much more.
One of the most known and unique icon of the Academy Awards is the infamous Oscar Statuette. The golden knight standing tall on a reel of film holding a sword was commissioned by sculptor George Stanley and was first presented in 1929.
2022 will mark the 94th annual Academy Awards and will honor best films between March and December of 2021.
