Reserve a Librarian

Growing Readers
Learning to read is an exciting phase for children and parents alike! Growing Readers is a Richland Library initiative that encourages children who are learning how to read, offering book recommendations, arts and crafts, and songs and fingerplays designed to improve children’s literacy skills.
Homebound
We’ll bring the library to you! Richland Library’s Homebound service delivers hand-selected books to homebound customers 60 years and older. Our caring, compassionate volunteers get to know our homebound customers and enjoy visiting with them while delivering the books. To register yourself or a loved one for this service, call (803) 929-3416. To volunteer for this program, please contact the volunteer coordinator at (803) 929-3436.
Local History
Richland Library offers many online research databases that you can access from the comfort of your home. Additionally, the librarians in the Walker Local and Family History Center are an invaluable resource for customers interested in genealogy or the history of South Carolina.
