Local Author Showcase: Melinda Fair (10am-2pm)
Born and raised as a country girl in South Carolina, Melinda loves romance novels and wrote her first novel “The Ultimate Desire” in 2004. She is passionate about writing romance novels, giving the world a glimpse into her mind of what true love should look and feel like. Suspense combined with romance and a bit of action draws the readers into her novels. She has written two other books that are soon to come. Melinda’s new book “A Forgotten Love” will be released this Spring 2024 on Amazon, so stay tuned for more from this newly published author.

The Market in Bloom: Planting Microgreens (11am)
Led by Richland Library Ballentine staff member, Melissa Sprenne, this demonstration is aimed to showcase the simplicity and joy of growing nutritious microgreens right at home. Microgreens can be added to sandwiches, smoothies, and salads. It's simple and fun to do!
