- The Palmetto Leader (1925-1928, 1930, January-April 1931)
- Columbia Record 1920-21
- Columbia Record births - 1969
- Christian Neighbor 1884-85
- Columbia Daily Register 1875
- Please note: These newspapers may contain statewide obituary and death information. Question marks have been used for illegible letters. To find names with illegible first letters use a question mark in the Name Browse. This is an ongoing project. Additional years and resources will be added as they are completed.
If you would like a copy of an obituary from our holdings, fill out the form below. Please provide an exact date of death for obituaries as well as page numbers when provided. Requests must be limited to three obituaries at one time. When we have fulfilled a request, then you are welcome to request three more.
Obituary requests are free to Richland Library card holders. Please include your card number on the request form.
Requests from non-library card users will be $5.00 for each obituary requested; this charge applies whether or not we are able to locate the obituary. Three requests may be made at one time for $15.00. We process requests after payment is received.
Out-of-county library cards are available for an annual fee of $65.00.
