North Main Recording Studio
Record your own tracks, refine your mix in our recording studio. Complete a short orientation and you'll be on your way to pressing record.
Welcome to the Recording Studio at Richland Library North Main. From music production to voiceovers, we have everything you need to make high-quality audio recordings.
How it Works
- A North Main Recording Studio orientation session is required before you can reserve the space to work independently. This one-hour session will guide customers through the equipment and how to get started utilizing the studio. Plus, give an overview of the policies and procedures of the space.
- Once orientation is completed, customers can reserve the studio. To inquire about availability or reserve the room, please call 803-754-7734.
- Customers should bring their own large-capacity (16 GB or more) drive to save work on, as all the files you create using the North Main Recording Studio iMacs will be erased after finishing your session.
- Customers are allowed a maximum of 3 upcoming reservations at a time, and each reservation is for 3 hours.
To schedule an orientation:
- Call 803-754-7734
- E-mail NMrecordingstudio@richlandlibrary.com
- Talk with a member of Richland Library North Main's staff.
- Children 17 and under can sign up for orientation alongside a parent or guardian.
- Please note, wait times for orientations vary from one to two weeks depending on availability.
